Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm Luis, 2o years old. I'm a Business Economics student and live in Manila/Cavite, Philippines.
What are your biggest interests?
I really like art seriously, as well as music, photography and fashion—However, I realized that I should have a business course first in order to get a great job in the future, so I took up one. But I guess the good thing here is that I also try to learn the former while studying local and international economic conditions as well as the stocks, corporations, trade and the like.
How did you become interested in those kind of stuffs and why are they important?
Because for me, I think, fashion isn't just about putting on designer or branded clothes or some unnecessary clothing where the public haven't seen 'em regularly. It is mostly of a way on how to make your life more exciting! Like spicing things up, through your own way of visualizing how you want to make your own, a work of art. Same with photography and music, they all involve the creative mind on how to make things more provocative and influencial.
The first thing you look at in another person's outfit is:
The details. I always pay attention to the details-- on how it fits that person perfectly, how it is tailored to give spark on their physical appearance. The overall details. If you're able to score that one, then I guess you'd be able to pull off anything.
What do you splurge on?
The food. To be honest, I really love eating. As much as possible, I try to experience every food present in the city, province or wherever that I find interesting to try. I love cooking and I think internet-based recipes are my pals.
What can't you live without?
My everyday portfolio of plans and inspirations.
Any fashion icons or famous people whose style you admire?
Simone Nobili.
What genre of songs will people mostly find in your iPhone/iPod?
House music. And some runway beats.
What are your favorite designers and places to shop?
Anything. Once something caught my attention, then I'm up for it. It is like, you already have a vision of yourself, and here comes the designers and brands who produce collections every season and they all add something on how you visualize yourself. Or perhaps, what you want to be.
A fashion rule you never/always break:
There are NO RULES when it comes to style or fashion.
*Questions based from Lookbook interviews. (So it would be easy to tell and answer things you might wanna know)
